EIGHTEEN (18) GOLDEN YELLOW SUNRAYS - represent the eighteen (18) barangays of the municipality

MINE CART, COCONUT TREE AND FISH - demonstrate the three (3) major sources of livelihood of the people which are mining, farming and fishing

1839 - the year which converse the period of t he first political history of Sulat, the period of t he Capitanes
