SHIELD - derived from the
provincial seal of Negros Occidental where the City is located.
TRIANGLE - represents the
northern, southern and eastern bearings of road arteries making the City the
crossroads of people and of things, commercial, cultural and others.
TREES - symbolize the
"bangkal" tree that once grew in abundance in the place, after which the city
is named. Likewise, serve as reminder for the people of Kabankalan to embark on
long-term programs for the rehabilitation of the environment coupled with
sustainable development.
SUN - symbolizes the
government authority, derived from the people with vigor, determination and
courage to achieve for themselves and their posterity and benefits of freedom
within the permissive will of the Almighty God.
THIRTY-TWO (32) SUN
RAYS - represent the thirty-two (32) barangays comprising the City.
