THREE (3) STARS - represent Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao where the three (3) reserve battalions are based: the 202nd Marine Battalion (Reserve) is located in Metro Manila, the 604th Marine Battalion is in Mindanao while the 51st Marine Reserve Battalion is based in the Visayas

RED PREDOMINANT ARROW POINTING UPWARD - signifies that the Marine Reserve Units are always striving for the highest degree of competence, efficiency and effectivity. The Brigade’s efforts are geared towards higher goals
