SHIELD - symbolizes defense and protection which the Bde provides the people in its AOR. Colored blue and red, with a kris displayed diagonally across it and the Arabic numerals “202” superimposed on the shield

KRIS - indigenous weapon of Filipino warriors. It remains unsheated to symbolize never-ending vigilance of our soldiers standing guard against all threats

WHITE - is for the ever-pure ideals and aspirations of the Bde in the accomplishment of its mission

RED - represents the courage and bravery of the troopers of the Bde who are ever-ready to risk their lives in the service of our people

BLUE - represents the fidelity as well as the inherent positive traits of the Bde’s troopers in the accomplishment of their task

YELLOW GOLD - represents prosperity which the Bde wishes to bring to all the communities in the Brigade’s AOR

BLACK - simply means “Death to the enemy”

“202” - stand for the numerical designation of the unit
