EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE - resembles the figure of an impregnable shield our forebears used in defending our sovereignty. It stands for the innate trait of the Filipinos to withstand pressures and threats, be they internal or external, which all members of the unit must be imbued with. It also stands for the sense of fairness and equality that the unit exercises in dealing with anybody or anything
RED COLOR - symbolizes the courage and heroism of the members of the unit in facing all challenges for the preservation and protection of the nation’s freedom and independence
THREE WHITE STARS - represent the three (3) main islands of the Philippine Archipelago: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao which the unit is duty-bound to defend
TABAK - an indigenous weapon of the Filipino warriors, The Tabak, pointing upwards signifies readiness of the unit to fight and to strike at any threat to the freedom of the peace-loving people
BLUE COLOR - stands for loyalty and support to the Philippine Army as well as to the people in general
GOLD COLOR - represents the troopers’ hopes and aspirations for the country
NUMBER 103 - stands for numerical designation of the unit
