SHIELD - designated provincial shield for the province of Romblon.

 

17 HUMAN FIGURES - represent the people of the 17 municipalities that make up the province of Romblon.

 

RISING SUN - stands for God's gift of abundant natural resources.

 

COLORS - the blue field provides the idea that Romblon is made up of island municipalities and coastal towns while the green depicts the ecology and agriculture sector.

 

MOUNTAIN - represents the Guiting-guiting National Park of Sibuyan Island, one of the world's remaining dense forests that houses thousands of animal and plant species.

 

CRAFTSMAN, FISH, COCONUT, ALMIREZ -  the craftsman makes mortar or almirez made of marble stone which is the main source of income for most Romblomanons. The coconut and fish are two other sources of livelihood.
