SHIELD - derived from the seal of Lanao del Norte where the municipality belongs.

SUN - signifies the guidance of the Heavenly Creator and His blessings showered upon the municipality.

24 RAYS OF THE SUN - represent the 24 barangays composing the municipality.

DOVE - signifies unity and friendship among Tubodnons who work towards the attainment of sustainable peace and development.

MOUNTAIN - stands for Mt. Torong-torong which is a potential eco-tourism destination for its diversified flora and fauna.

CRESCENT, STAR, AND CROSS - signifies the cultural pluralism of Tubod, its varied customs, traditions, history, and religion spring from its settling by Muslim and Christian settlers and indigenous groups.

GREEN FIELD - signifies rice and corn crop production and trading, the second largest source of income of the municipality.

COCONUT TREE - represents the main source of income of the municipality, which is copra production and trading.

BANANA PLANT - represents the One-Town-One-Product (OTOP) of the Municipality from which the town's Sagingan Festival is inspired as the celebration showcases a bountiful harvest of the thirty (30) banana varieties along with other farm produce.

CARABAO - signifies hard work and enthusiasm of farmers in tilling the agricultural land in order to prosper the municipality's economy.

SPRING - stands for the Tubod Spring at Sitio Baybay which tells the toponymical origin of the municipality; Tubod is Visayan term for "water source".

BLUE SEA - stands for Panquil Bay, source of bountiful marine life which benefit most the fisher folks.

FISH - stands for Laya (Snapper), a fish species which is the most abundant catch in the bay.

ROAD - signifies infrastructure development in the municipality including farm to market roads to strengthen the economy.

1946 - the year the town, by virtue of Republic Act Number 58, separated from its mother town Kolambugan and became an independent municipality. 

GEAR - symbolizes the municipality's vision of Agri-Industrialization.

SLOGAN - coined by the first elected Municipal Mayor of Tubod the late Arsenio A. Quibranza.
