SHIELD - derived from the provincial seal of Agusan Del Norte where the municipality belongs.
 
CIRCLE - symbolizes unity among the people of the municipality of Jabonga.
 
WATERFALL - if improved, the Mayugda Falls can be made into a tourist spot (located in Barangay Poblacion)
 
COCONUT TREES - refer to the major agricultural product of the municipality.
 
FISH CORALS - a tourist attraction of the municipality and also a source of income especially during the rainy season where a special fish called "casili" (eels) can be caught in abundance.
 
MOUNTAIN RANGES AND SEA - Barangay Poblacion, the seat of the municipality is situated along the famous Lake Mainit, to the west are mountain ranges overlooking four coastal barangays.
