SHIELD - derived from the provincial shield of Iloilo where the town is located.
RICE PADDIES, CARABAO, PLOW, SUGARCANE, COCONUT TREE, AND FRUIT - depict the municipality as an agricultural municipality.
1907 - founding year
RIVER AND DAM - represent the Jalaur River and the multi-million peso Jalaur River Diversion Dam which stretches to 172.32 meters and irrigates a maximum of 18,000 hectares.
MONUMENT AND SCHOOL BUILDINGS - represent the historical landmark, the monument of Gen. Adriano Hernandez, the town's hero. The school buildings refer to access to both private and public education.
CAVE AND TREES - symbolize the town's domestic tourism. Dingle is rich in natural resources for recreation, sight seeing, trekking, and cave exploration. The trees represent forest lands which comprise 15.685% of the total land area. This includes the Bulabog-Puti-an National Park, an old growth forest and an excellent site for the study of flora and fauna.
BUILDINGS, GEAR, AND ELECTRICAL POST - represent the minor central business district of the municipality. Aside from agriculture, which is the main livelihood of the people, Dingeanons also engage in small scale business. The buildings represent the commercial establishments and small-scale industries in the municipality.
CHURCH - represents the religious affiliations of the Dingeanons. This is symbolized by the Roman Catholic Church characterizing Dingeanons as God-loving and God-fearing people.
