TOWER - one of the most important parts of a castle used for defending its people's trust; it symbolizes authority, strength and reliance.

1743 - year of foundation.

FISH - represents aquatic resources of the municipality.

MOUNTAIN AND RICEFIELD - reflect the mountain ranges of Castillejos; it also represents agriculture, forest products and cottage industry.
