SHIELD - derived from the provincial seal of Palawan where the town is located.

FISH - symbolizes fishing, one of the major industries of Busuanga.

COW - represents cattle industry; hybrid cattle of the Yulo King Ranch—giant ranching firm in the town.

GIRAFFE - stands for the exotic wildlife and animals in Calauit Game Preserve and Wildlife Sanctuary, a gigantic nature and tourist destination project which breeds eight exotic animals unique in the whole Asia.

SEA SHELL - symbolizes the big pearl farm product that provide employment to the townspeople.

STARS, SUN & COLORS RED, BLUE, WHITE AND GOLDEN-YELLOW - depict the Philippine National Flag.

1951 - the year when the municipality was founded.
