BUSTOS DAM - with its huge checkgate and transversing ogee extending northward up to San Rafael, Bulacan. Bustos being essentially an agricultural town, the great volume of water stored in this reservoir is heavily relied upon all year round to irrigate the vast tract of land planted to rice and vegetables. The Bustos Dam is also the source of water used in irrigating by gravity the ricefields in the municipali ties of Plaridel, Cuiguinto, Malolos, Balagtas and Bocaue.

SPHERICAL CORD - symbolizes that the Municipality of Bustos has a definite territorial jurisdiction distinct and different from that of other municipalities. Inner Cord symbolizes that the administration of the entire municipality is within the territorial jurisdiction and authority of the municipal government.

14 KNOTS OR NODES OF BAMBOO POLES ENCLOSING THE CENTER PART OF THE SEAL (Green) - represent the 14 barangays of the Municipality, namely: Poblacion, San Pedro, Talampas, Cambaog, Tanawan, Bonga Menor, Bonga Mayor, Tibagan, Malamig, Liciada, Catacte, Malawak, Buisan and Camachilihan.

MONUMENT OF UNKNOWN SOLDIER - symbolizes the thousands of Guerrillas of the "Bulacan Military Area", many of whom died during the Japanese occupation of our country, the BMA Park is located in this municipality because it was in this town that the guerrilla movement in the entire province of Bulacan was initially and secretly organized. It was also in this municipality where the overall command of the BMA under the late General Alejo S. Santos emanated.
