SUN WITH FOURTEEN RAYS - The sun symbolizes the Divine Providence, which shines over the Municipality and the fourteen (14) rays stand for the number of barangays.

BOTTOM DESIGN - The bottom design signifies that the municipality is an agricultural community, it represent life and growth.

RED COLOR - Represents bravery of the people of Burgos.

GREEN COLOR - Represents life and hope.

GOLDEN YELLOW - Stands for the people's drive for self-fulfillment.

Other tribes include the Kalanguya, Karao and the Kankana-eys who also wear similar native attire during festivals and other gatherings.
