BOLD BLUE LINES CROSSING EACH OTHER - represent the lakes and rivers intersecting the gigantic Agusan River teeming with mudfish of which Bunawan is noted for.

PICK, SPADE & HELMET - indicate the proliferation of mining industry in the area.

TREES - indicate thriving logging and tree plantation industry.

RICE & CORN - symbolize the staple food of the populace.
