STAR - depicts the municipality's continuing search for development compared to a star whose radiance cannot be dimmed even by the passage of time.

FISH, CRABS, SHRIMPS, RICE & LOGS - represent the five major products of the municipality, the main source of livelihood of the townspeople.

MAP (COLORED GREEN) - represents the map of the town. Green color denotes that the municipality is a rich agricultural and fishing commmity. The white portion of the map refers to Buguey Lagoon.

RED COLOR - represents courage and bravery.

BLUE COLOR - stands for honesty of the townspeople.

YELLOW COLOR - depicts the assertiveness and perseverance of the Bugueyano towards the total development of the town.
