EAGLE - stands for the American rule and its educational contribution.
CIRCLE - represents Basco as the provincial capital and melting pot.
MOUNTAIN - represents Mt. Iraya, one of the tourism potentials of the municipality.
BREADFRUIT TREE - symbolizes the municipal tree, a good source of quality lumber and rubber.
COW - symbolizes industry and the source of livelihood of 25% of the population.
