SHIELD - derived from the provincial seal of Tarlac where the town is located.

BAMBAN GROTO AND RIVER CONTOUR (UPPER LEFT PORTION) - otherwise known as the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto, the place is a famous landmark for devotees, pilgrims and tourist especially on Holy Week. Aside from being a tourist destination, the grotto now serves a site of 40th Division US Army Shrine. It is the only landmark Grotto Hill that can be found along the route of MacArthur highway. The river contour are the of Parua River or Bamban River, which is a national landmark that serves a Boundary between the Province of Tarlac and Pampanga. The river is a witness to the historic battle (Battle of Prua River Line in Bamban, November 1899). The devastating pyroclastic materials cascaded down this river from Sacobia when Mt. Pinatubo erupted in 1991, and continues to be an important landmark to this day.

BAMBAN PLANT - Bamban derived its name from this plant, which was abundant in the Aeta Kingdom of Bamban. With a scientific name of Donaz Cannaeformis K. Schum. The Bamban plant is a shrub of rattan specie thriving along the banks of the main river and its tributaries. At present, numerous Bamban plants are found near the streams in Sacobia area, Dapdap and Mainang.

PIERCED HELMET ON A WOODEN POST (LOWER LEFT PORTION) - captured on a historical war photo, the symbol signifies the bravery and extreme sacrifice of our local guerrillas and American soldiers during World War II.

SYMBOL/FLAG OF EMILIO (LOWER RIGHT PORTION) - this symbolizes the establishment of General Emilio Aguinaldo's revolutionary government headquarters in Bamban on June 6–12, 1899 and a reminder of the role of Bamban as the last defence of the Republic during the Filipino–American war.

SPEARS AND BOW (LEFT AND RIGHT SIDES OF THE SHIELD) - made from indigenous materials the gadget were used since the ancient times by Aetas, the early settlers of Bamban. They used these in hunting, weapons for self protection and defence.

YEAR 1710 (ABOVE THE SHIELD) - founding year of Bamban. With historical data papers from the National Library and Mariano Henson's book "The History of Pampanga and its Towns", as main reference, it was in 1710 when Bamban was discovered as an Aeta Settlement by the Spanish missionaries. The Missionaries propagated Catholic faith particularly in  the areas of (old) Banaba, Anupul and Culubasa; by 1716, Fr. Andres de San Fulgencio of the Augustinian Recollects Order started the mission in Bamban 1716.

GRAINS OF RICE (SURROUNDING THE SHIELD) - symbolizes the 15 barangays of the municipality, with rice as the main produce.

GOLD - original Kapampangan color for valor.

GREEN - denotes spring of life.

RED - color of passion, bravery and profound love

WHITE - purity and loyalty

The seal encompass the historical and cultural aspects of the town as an Aeta Kingdom, a bastion of freedom and liberty during World War II.
