SHIELD - derived from the provincial seal of Nueva Vizcaya where the town is located.

PALAY, ONIONS AND TOMATOES - represent the basic products of the municipality.

MAP - depicts the topography of the municipality which mountain ranges devoted to animal industry and agriculture indicating the two major sources of livelihood of the people.

CARABAO, COW, GOAT AND PIG HEADS - represent the animal industry and partners in farming of the townspeople.

RED - represents the municipal color.
