SHIELD - derived from the provincial seal of Pangasinan.

CIRCLE - stands for the unity of all Alcaleneans in all endeavors that bring progress to the town.

YELLOW COLOR -symbolizes the main duty of the municipal executive to protect the welfare of the people.

SALAKOT - symbolizes the town as an agricultural town with the majority of the townspeople deriving their means of livelihood from agriculture.

LETTER "A" - stands for A, the first letter in Alcala.

THREE (3) STARS - represents the three illustrious sons of Alcala namely: Hon. Cypriano Primicias; Senator and Majority Floor Leader; Hon. Nicomedes Rupisan, Representative of the 4th District of Pangasinan; Justice Delfin FL. Batacan, Justice of the Court of Appeals.

TOWN HALL - symbolizes the political maturity of the townspeople. It is also the most prominent and conspicuous landmark of the town.
