SHIELD - derived from the provincial seal of Mountain Province where the town is located

CHAIN - symbolizes harmony and unity among the people of Sabangan

TWO (2) CROOKED CIRCLE - mean that Sabangan is surrounded by mountains and meeting of two (2) rivers—the Bayudan and Chico River

FOUR (4) DIVISION OF THE SHIELD - represent the four (4) areas of Sabangan each with following color:

a) Area I - Green

b) Area II - Maroon

c) Area III - Golden Yellow

d) Area IV - Blue

HOUSES - represent the number of barangays in each area

HOE AND SHOVEL - means that the main source of livelihood of the townspeople is farming
