SHIELD - derived from the provincial seal of Quezon where the town is located.

CIRCULAR LINES - represent unity among the municipality constituents .

RISING SUN WITH 11 RAYS - the sun represents the mayor and the eleven (11) rays represent the eleven (11) Sangguniang Bayan members.

RICEFIELD - symbolizes rice as one of the major products of the town.

MOUNTAIN - depicts the "Malipunyo" mountain on the western part of Tiaong, the last stand of Japanese Army.

COCONUT TREE AND BANANA PLANT - two major products of the town other than rice.

CHURCH - represents the Tiaong Parish Church, constructed by the Franciscan Missionaries in 1670, one of the longest, biggest  and oldest churches in Quezon Province.

ARCH - one of the oldest landmark in Tiaong; symbolizes firmness of the townspeople in working together for a bright future; it is the boundary of Laguna and Quezon province.

HILLS WITH LAKE IN THE CENTER - represent the "Tikob" lake - a legendary lake with harmless crocodiles and several varieties of fish.

THIRTY ONE (31) STARS FORMING A LETTER "T" - represent the thirty one (31) barangays that comprise the municipality.

SILHOUETTE OF A WOMAN AND COW'S HEAD - symbolize the legend where the name Tiaong originated.
