CHURCH - symbolizes that the first seat of Christianity in Western Visayas was established in Oton, that it was third in the country to be accepted as the House of the Province of Most Holy Name of Jesus in the Philippines after Manila and Cebu in 1572 in honor of Immaculate Conception; also symbolizes that the First Council of the Church in the Philippines was convened in Oton
GOLDEN MASK - bolsters Oton’s richness in ancient artifacts and the townspeople’s ancient art in blacksmithing
