PORTRAITS OF APOLINARIO MABINI AND PRES. JOSE P. LAUREL - represent the two (2) illustrious sons of Tanaunan, Batangas, Mabini was a lawyer, philosopher and patriot and because of his high intellectual gift, came to be called the "Brains of the Philippine Revolution"; President Laurel was a diplomat, a statesman and became President of the Republic of the Philippines. Their writings have become part of the Philippine history and literature.

COCONUT, BANANAS, COW, PLOW AND FISH - represent the major products Tanauan is noted for.

WHEEL WITH WINGS - symbolizes trade and commerce.

LAUREL LEAVES - stand for peace.

MALAYAN LETTER "K" - stands for "Kaunlaran" or development and progress.
